Our Active Schools Committee met in November and put their brains together to write a new active slogan for our school.
We thought of lots of different active words such as run, skip, hop, jump, dance, play, kick and throw and created a slogan together.
Our new slogan is 'CMIS love to play, we are active every day!'
We then asked each class to design a poster for our new slogan.
We displayed finalists posters from junior infants, senior infants and first class in the hallway and each class went on a gallery walk and voted for their favourite poster design.
We were delighted to present the competition winners with an amazing prize of 6 weeks swimming lessons in Sean McDermott Street swimming pool.
We are very grateful to the staff in Sean McDermott Street swimming pool for donating this fabulous prize!
