Dear parents and children,
I have been Principal of Central Model Infants’ School for the last fifteen years
and a member of staff for 28 years. It is now time for me to say ‘slán libh’ (goodbye). My last day working with you and your lovely children will be Friday 20th December, when we get our holidays.
I am delighted to announce that Elaine Dunphy, who currently works here as Home School Liaison Coordinator, has been appointed as the new Principal. She leads such a dedicated team of caring, kind staff with a passion for education.
The school remains in excellent hands under the guidance of Michael O’Riordan and the board of management.
It has been an enormous privilege and a great joy to lead this school community. I would like to thank you for your trust and support. I wish you and your beautiful young children the brightest possible future in our school and throughout your lives.
