Home School Community Liaison (HSCL)
Hi, I’m Ciara Walsh, the HSCL Coordinator in Central Model Infant’s School.
My role is to help build a strong connection between home, school and our community, and to support parents and families to feel involved and welcome in school.
I’m here to:
- support families with attendance and punctuality
- help parents get involved in school life and activities
- organise courses, events and activities for parents
- help connect families with useful supports and services
- work together with parents and teachers to support children.
Most importantly, I’m here to listen, help and make things a little easier where I can.
You’re always welcome to come and have a chat. I’m often at the school gate at drop-off and collection, or you can contact me by email or phone.
