Our School Garden

Our School Garden

Thanks to the hard work of our staff and children, the Central Model Infants’ School has an amazing garden that keeps growing and changing with the seasons, an outdoor classroom that is an exciting place for children to learn.

Our garden is home to a Bug Hotel as well as a huge variety of different plants and flowers; we grow our own potatoes, peas, strawberries and apples and this year we have introduced our own school wormery which we feed from our school compost bins.

We believe in taking care of our earth, so that it can take care of us; and we are so proud of our five Green Schools Ireland flags.

Keep an eye on this page to see all the latest news and pictures from our wonderful school garden!
